QUOTE(bu_hamdan @ May 3 2008, 04:42 AM) *

Then how do you believe that all of this organization in the universe has no god to control it?

The laws of physics on the atomic level are well established and proven, there's no "control" needed.

Saying "God does it all" is just a way of admitting you do not understand or are incapable of understanding the physical universe.

And while I'm typing, I think I'll mention the fact that although you (and any Islamic we talk to) says Islam is a religion of peace, I spent an hour last night deleting postings from someone claiming to be Islamic, that showed Islamics REVELING in the fact they were killing people. I spend a lot of time on the internet, and the number of religious types that all claim to be men of peace (both USA and Arabic), yet advocate mass killings in the name of God truly amazes me.

When personal political agendas crop up, God suddenly becomes someone who loves you killing the enemy.
Unless I'm mistaken (feel free to correct me) does Islam not say that you should kill me as I am a non-believer and an infidel?

I think I'll go and find the relevant text that says I'm not to be classed as human. king.gif

And why was the first few hundred years consumed by warfare?

QUOTE(bu_hamdan @ May 1 2008, 09:26 PM) *

who killed more than 200,000 people by one bomb in Japan?!
who are killing children and women every day in Palestine?!
If the Muslims are defining to save their homes are terrorists and the others are killing people in people's homes and they are not terrorists????!!

very swift move from defending Islam to defending those who kill in the name of Islam,
and THAT is the major reason why muslims got such a bad rep.

Islam does indeed preach for many good stuff,
problem is, in reality - those things get ignored, and people do what they want (and claim that is Islam)
and that's why moderates shouldspeak out.

so - instead of defending any muslim, ignoring whatever atrocities made - stop treating Islam like a soccer team.
and tell us of the good things you see in Islam.
if you can't think of any - I'll give you some pointers...

...and there you have it in a nutshell Bu. You believe that Allah is God and that Mohammed was his prophet for one reason and one reason only.....because you were born in a Muslim country with Muslim parents. Had you been born in a Christian country, like bob123/Eric was, you would be proclaiming that the Christian god is the only true god and that Jesus Christ is his son. Had you been born in India you would be proclaiming the truth of the Bhagavad Gita rather than the Qur'an and telling us that we should all accept Brahma. You see Bu, religion has nothing to do with 'truth'.....it's all to do with geography. bitchslap.gif

But you'll never get him/them to follow such blinding logic. The indoctrination is usually too deep rooted.

Britain is not a"Christian country"; it is a "Post Christian country". I believed in Christ as my Lord and Saviour because God, by His Holy Spirit, opened my eyes to the truth. It has nothing to do with geography.

It has everything to do with geography. If you had been born in India with Hindu parents you would believe that Brahma is your lord and saviour. Had you been born in Iraq with Muslim parents you would believe that Allah is your lord and saviour and that Jesus was nothing more than a 'prophet'.

If you don't believe that then answer this question (I know that answering questions is not your strong point Eric...it never has been but please try).

Q. If you were Hindu at this moment, what in Christianity would make you reject the Bhagavad Gita which, as a Hindu, you would accept as 100% 'truth' and chose the Bible instead?

It has nothing to do with geography. There are people all over the world who accept Jesus as their personal Saviour. This includes people in Muslim countries.

Answer to question: if I wanted the assurance of eternal life then Jesus is the only one who can give this as He rose from the dead. He is the only and exclusive way to Heaven.

....and people in Christian countries accept Allah, Brahma and a host of other gods so what's your point.
