Flora and fauna refer to plant and wildlife, respectively. The indigenous plant and wildlife of a geographical region is often referred to as that region’s flora and fauna

And the photo that won had no Flora and fauna Chortle.gif Its a beach. great photo as soon as i seen it I knew it would win. anyway one of mine the one with the church didn't have fauna either blush2.gif

Sorry Dev, but the photos had to be of a landscape. Flora and fauna didnt have to be in it at all and just formed part of the definition

Excellent Pic Babs, well done thumbup.gif

How and where did everyone take their photos then?

I climbed up the scaffolding to get onto the roof of my house to take mine. 2# one is west facing, 3# is east facing.

I nearly didn't enter it for these same reasons, but if you look there is a plant (bottom right corner Chortle.gif ) and there are people on it, trying to put their tent up delicious.gif

And the tide was nearly out so it's mostly land as in "Landscape"

Sorry for winning yet again, morning1.gif
Thanks to everyone that voted for mine, I loved them all....great pics thumbup.gif
