Should the BBC continue as a 'public service' or should it make its way in the world the same as all other TV companies?
What does the BBC provide that others don't?
Any other company that doesn't get enough viewers withers and dies, but the BBC can continue its merry way, sure in the knowledge that next years money is safe and sound...in our pockets.
When the digital broadcasting starts in earnest...perhaps the BBC should be viewed via subscription.
You can't say anything about adverts cos the BBC advertise themselves all the time.
The BBC. Should it be open to market forces.
