I know that each man/ woman has their own definition (or perspective) of love if experienced. What follows is completely my view. (wherever you find ‘you’, it might be me;) ) This fully biased to a college life / love.

Love… is a special feeling, a romantic feeling, a beautiful feeling, a wonderful feeling, of companionship, of mutual trust, of beauty, of mutual interest, of high degree of likeness, of closeness...(and so on..) This ‘wonderfulness’ comes from the feeling that my partner is always with me or I’m with her. Love is a special chemistry between hearts. And so it transcends distance.
Love is magical. It can create wonders. It somehow changes your lifestyle. It makes you a writer/poet sometimes. I’ve wondered how I beautiful words easily flow out of my heart. Beautiful words are always on your mind in this season. ‘Being in love’ is a spring season, you know. Everything around you seems simply spectacular. Wow!
When love is in its ‘seed’ form, it’s never understood. But it grew. You still didn’t know the intense of the love. If you’ve the right atmosphere, it grows all of a sudden. You realize it a bit late. Don’t you?
Your lover is always in your mind – when you begin your day, when you look at the mirror, when you have food, when you go to bed… Her smile is always in front when you close your eyes. You never get fed up looking at her face or listening her talk. Isn’t it awe-inspiring?
Love is like a fantasy. Especially college love. You don’t have much responsibility then. It is a beautiful ride through a magic island. Well, this ride stops for most of the college loves. (Sigh!)
Love makes you act crazy sometimes. Do you remember the weirdest ever thing you did?
Have you noticed? You are very happy during love. It’s very thrilling and you are always full of heart, and energy. Ironically, it brings fast sadness that fill your heart bottom to top. You become complete moody and depressed sometimes. Your heart feels so heavy and, it’s very fast. I had this feeling whenever I’m parted with her for some time, say (just) 1 or 2 days! But when you get an sms or email or phone call you are back in energy full of strength.
You’ll have abundant patience towards to your lover. It’s vise versa too… you are totally restless about her. I’ve felt it.
Love is sometimes like fear, which comes when you no way want to hurt your partner. Sometimes you are afraid even to touch her. (is love electric?) Mine was a special love, indeed. I enjoyed it heartily.
Time seems to be moving very fast during love. I myself have yelled how fast the time goes off so fast. Ironically, love is sometimes timeless. You just look at her wonderful smile. You realize how beautiful she is… her clear dark eyes, her cheeks, her lips… I just want to see them forever. I don’t remember how long I’ve sat looking at her eyes, listening her talks over coffees, over sunsets. But I miss it now. Yes, love gives us the real feeling of ‘I miss you’. When you miss her, you are the loneliest human in the area.
I never get tired of walking with her. You walk slowly, very very slowly, for how-much-ever distance you want. I really enjoyed such walks.
Love is just like a dream! You build up beautiful landscapes with imagination. You can wander yourself and discover the minute and sublime nature of love. The more you find out, the more you go into the abyss – it’s still deeper inside.
Love is eternal? May be yes. I don’t know.
Well… this seems unlimited. I would rather stop blabbering… (stopping deliberately) I’ll end saying this – to love and to get love is pure god’s grace. I thank him for my blissful experience.
I’ll say something more. I must say this. You know, I really didn’t believe in the strength of love earlier. I used to mock at the love expressions in movies. (I didn’t quite understand it then) I didn’t know it’s so binding. It can be understood only if you experience it. After my experience, I could realize the depth of the dialogues in movies. I felt the feelings. If you didn’t, you really miss something in life, buddy. (if you didn’t receive your ticket yet, it is on the way:) ) Life is, of course incomplete without love.
Well, I really like to read your views individually on this never-ending mystery called ‘love’. Take time to write it. This would become a marvelous collection.
Cheers!
