I can't make my mind up if I like them or not...(the car, not ZZ Top. ZZ Top are ok)
dead comfy and very roomy. some minor niggles but i like mine.
quite a high seating position aswell, they look ok from the front, but they look like a middle aged Italian woman from the back
Just got me a 52 Plate Vauxhall Zafira 2.0 DTI. It's nice, its shiny and it runs like a dream. The mileage was sky high on it though.....
BTW, what kind of mileage do people here have on their cars?
Mines on 144,000-odd miles. Been told that high mileage isn't as bad for modern cars as it used to be.

Mine's less than 18 months old...so it's not very high I'll check in the morning.

That's what I've been told too. And they say that desiel engines last longer too.
Don't know how true that is though.

was it used for cabbing, or was it a reps car, thats a lot of mileage for its age

It was a reps car. Been in touch with the Vauxhall people who did all the servicing on it and they told me it was well looked after.
I've had my mechanic mate to look at it as well, everything is in excellent shape on it.

modern engines go on for ever dace, sounds like you got a good bargain there

I used to drive a Vauxhall Safira for work until I crashed it and now they will not let me drive anything!
I had to scrap my Volvo 440 SE cos it was getting too expensive to keep life is hard when you've known better times but stuff it cos there's always another day.

Yeah lots of people thought that esp when they hit the gas to stop me over taking them and the boy racer in me came into play. Then I'd show the wankers that yes it was possible burn them off, keep in front, and to navigate a roundabout without crossing lanes. Thus when I hit the straight they were 200 metres behind (this being on a particular stretch of road where frequently younger drivers seemed to think Time to show this old twat who's the better driver!)! Of course the sensible thing to do would surely have been drop back and not indulge in their mindless and dangerous game however my alternative would have been road rage so all in all this was better.
A 2litre injection old mans car together with a competant driver! Any twat can drive fast but not every twat can drive competantly!

Nissan Xtrail good motor, unfortunately had to trade my Volvo C70 T5 in, but with the price of fuel maybe it wasn't such a bad thing
