Hi can anyone help with a prob. i had to re-install windows the other day and when i re-installed my modem and took the USB cable out i could not get on the internet but when i put the modem cable back in every thing is alright . i get a icon in my system tray saying safely remove hardware and when i click on that icon it has got my modem driver in there what should i do

The modem cable has to be plugged in for you to use the internet, so if it where unplugged id imagine that it would'nt work
